Bridge of Life is excited to announce the addition of Neil S. Herson to its board of directors. Herson brings to Bridge of Life over 16 years of executive-level leadership in specialty distribution and healthcare. He is the president of ASD Healthcare, a pharmaceutical distributor located in Frisco, TX, where he has previously served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager. He was instrumental in pioneering the development of blood plasma and dialysis business lines, in addition to the ASD Healthcare’s influenza vaccine distribution strategy.
“Bridge of Live gives both companies and individuals in the U.S. the opportunity to share our knowledge and medical technologies with people in undeveloped nations,” said Herson. “It is a great avenue for sharing and giving back.”
Herson was born in South Africa and received his bachelor’s degree in business and law from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Outside of work, Herson is active in various philanthropic and community organizations including Alpha-1 Foundation, Jeffrey Modell Foundation, Save One Life, Neuropathy Association, Project SHARE, and others.
